Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a long-term condition that can have a significant impact on everyday life. For some people, symptoms can include pelvic pain, painful periods, heavy bleeding, fatigue and digestive symptoms, as well as affecting sleep, exercise, work and emotional wellbeing.
Living with persistent symptoms can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and finding ways to look after yourself alongside your usual healthcare can be an important part of managing life with a long-term condition.
Acupuncture and Endometriosis
I offer acupuncture as a complementary treatment for people living with endometriosis, with each treatment tailored to the individual and their current needs.
Appointments provide time to pause, rest and step away from the demands of everyday life. Some people find the treatment deeply relaxing and describe feeling calmer, more grounded or more rested afterwards.
We’ll take time to discuss your symptoms, general health and what you would like support with, so that your treatment can be approached in an individualised and holistic way.
Acupuncture should be considered complementary to, rather than a replacement for, appropriate medical care.
If you’d like to find out more about acupuncture and what an appointment involves, please get in touch.
